Visit our booth during the Museum Trade Days
On Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 9, 2023, the sixth edition of the Museum Trade Days will be organized, the professional trade fair for the Dutch and Flemish museum sector.
Over 80 exhibitors will present themselves during the Museum Trade Days. Discover the latest possibilities and solutions, get informed and inspired by one of the many experts, and find out which innovations can be significant for your museum or institution!
The common thread during the Museum Trade Days is knowledge transfer, which is why there is an interactive and educational congress linked to the Museum Trade Days. During the congress, current events in the museum world will be addressed.
From DEVENTit, there will also be a lecture about Atlantis. This will take place on Thursday, November 9 from 14:00 to 15:00. Herre Jan Veenema will talk about the possibilities, the future, and what difference our collection management system can make for small museums.
We have a limited number of free entrance tickets that we can give away. Would you like to be one of the attendees on one of these days? Let us know how many tickets you would like to receive and under which name they should be registered, and we will contact you about the tickets.
Preview Atlantis 7 and anniversary party
On October 27, we had the exclusive preview of Atlantis 7. There was a great turnout, and Anne-Wil from DEVENTit gave an interesting presentation about the latest update of Atlantis. This presentation particularly focused on the changes compared to the current version. Anne-Wil took us through what Atlantis 7 looks like and where the differences lie.
Couldn’t make it? Don’t worry, we will soon organize a webinar about Atlantis 7. As soon as more information is available, you will hear it directly from us.
After the preview, our anniversary party started to celebrate the 25th anniversary of DEVENTit. This was together with relations, friends, family, and colleagues. There was a walking dinner and various speeches reflecting on the past 25 years.
Instead of gifts, a joint donation was collected for Stichting De Genadebank. This is a food and clothing bank from Bunschoten that helps people who are financially struggling. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the donations and congratulations.
Supplier Day Network Digital Heritage
On Tuesday, November 14, a Supplier Day will be organized by Network Digital Heritage. This will take place at Het Ketelhuis in Eindhoven. This day focuses on collection management systems and working NDE compatible. A perfect moment to get updated on NDE compatibility and to receive an update on the various software packages.
A complete program has been prepared with various workshops to choose from. DEVENTit will give a workshop on Atlantis, focusing on the usable presentation of collections. There will also be a guest speaker who will share insights from the user perspective about Atlantis, with various tips. Will you join our workshop? Then you will receive a nice Atlantis goodie from us.

DAF Museum chooses Atlantis
At the DAF Museum, visitors are continually amazed. The ingenuity that characterizes DAF vehicles, from 1928 to the present, will also captivate the non-expert visitor. A visit to the DAF Museum means a journey through time, along the historical heritage of Doorne’s Automobile Factory. This starts from the founding of the company by brothers Hub and Wim van Doorne to the latest trucks rolling off the production line in the DAF factories.
DAF Museum has chosen Atlantis for managing and presenting the museum collection online. They will also implement all NDE-compatible components to provide fully usable information. Recently, they also signed the NDE Manifest, which you can read about in the article.
