Atlantis features import capabilities to read this data in bulk, for example via import mapping. This translates the columns from the Excel file into fields within Atlantis. The file can then be imported all at once and converted into existing or new records in Atlantis. This allows you to map the columns from your Excel file to fields in Atlantis.

How is the privacy of living individuals safeguarded?

Within the module, you can configure access restrictions. You can set specific certificates or registers (for example, birth certificates less than 100 years old) to be visible to the administrator, but hidden from the public environment.

How does the module handle name variants and patronymics?"

The module supports powerful search functionalities that can take spelling variations into account. Additionally, thesauri (controlled name lists) can be utilized. This ensures that a researcher will also find 'Jansen' when searching for 'Janssen'

Can I link scans directly to the person descriptions?

Absolutely. The module is designed to link the 'Genealogy' directly to the digital reproduction of the certificate or the register page. From the search results, visitors can immediately open the corresponding scan in the integrated media viewer.

Is there support for exporting data to WieWasWie or Open Archives?

Various export formats are supported, such as A2A. Additionally, it is possible to establish a connection between Atlantis and parties like these. This can be achieved through an API or OAI connection, or by implementing Linked Open Data.
