About managing collections in Atlantis

Registering and managing collections

Atlantis is the premier webbased collection software for archive and heritage collection management. The platform aligns with (inter)national standards, is fully configurable to your needs, and supports the use and publication of Linked Open Data.

A wide scale of collections ranging from archives, objects, and image collections to handwritten and printed sources, construction files, deeds, and registers can be managed with Atlantis. Atlantis is a multimedia collection management system in which images, audio/video, and documents are linked. Thanks to integrated media viewers, these files can be viewed directly. This solution for archive and collection management is hosted in the Netherlands on DEVENTit’s own hardware. The environment, files, and backups are stored mirrored across two physically separated locations, and optionally a third cloud location. DEVENTit is ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO14001, and NIS2 certified.

User Friendly and well-organized

Thanks to the intuitive interface of our collection management system, creating and modifying records is done via a clear management environment. User views and actions within the environment are managed based on access rights. Atlantis supports bulk modifications and provides import and export functions. In addition, the extensive search capabilities ensure that the required information is found quickly.

Flexibele and customizable

The Atlantis collection registration system can be flexibly configured without the intervention of consultants or developers via the Configuration Cockpit. Within this interface, adjustments are made according to your own insights. This includes assembling custom data entry screens and reports, setting up authorizations, and defining relationship options.
